Looking for guidance/sample code to update the DWG file and then export to PDF. Current I import DWG and extract all the shapes and labels and store them into database 1. Covert DWG to PNG 2. Extract shape polylines, convert the coordinates based on the PNG image ratio. 3. Extract labels and convert the coordinates based on the PNG image ratio. After this process I use mapping libraries such as OpenLaysers to turn the space layers on/off, turn text on/off, and apply different colors for intended functions, etc. I want to be able to write this information (and colors) back to the DWG file and export to PDF.

Sorry, I can't help you with this I'm afraid. - Wout

Is it because it is not possible to write back to the CAD using Cab.lib?

You can. - Wout

Can I pay for your support for sample code or I just have to study it?

Hi, I can't help you in this case, it's too much application development, and I don't do it. - Wout

Hi Wout, Maybe there was a confusion. Most of the items in my request are already done. I was seeking some sample code only on writing back to the DWG and PDF export.. Thanks for the canned response. Regards

First of all: there wasn't a single question in your original post. I am not a mind reader, and do not intend to become one in the future. Second: if you just wanted to know how to write to DWG and to PDF, why not simply ask this? Instead you write a whole novel with bullet points and more that are apparently irrelevant to your question. Third: the information you need is both in the documentation and in the example solutions, perhaps look there first instead of wasting my time. - Wout

Sorry for wasting your time. I was trying to provide more background information and pay for the support. I followed what you and I had done previously and somehow this time things just fell apart. No more questions. Thank you.
