Now that .NET 7 is officially released, we're looking to finally make the migration from .NET Framework 4.8 to .NET 7 sometime in the next several months. I'm wondering if there are plans for CadLib to also support .NET 7 and/or if the .NET 6 version is expected to be forward compatible? We did some initial tests on the .NET 6 version against the .NET 7 Preview and it seemed to work fine in our initial tests, but we don't know if this is an officially supported scenario. If the plan is to create a separate CadLib 7 version, would a purchased CadLib 6 license carry over if it's within the maintenance/support window?

Hi, I haven't looked into .NET 7.0 yet, I will most likely provide a CadLib 7.0 build for .NET 7.0 early next year. - Wout

Thanks for the response. Good luck! As I mentioned, for what it's worth, so far our initial tests with using the .NET 6 trial in a .NET 7 runtime seemed to work fine for our usage. But obviously we didn't test the entire scope of CadLib. Here's hoping it's just as smooth an update for you too!
