Hi all, There is an important change to the licensing of CadLib for web applications/web services: from now on a CadLib license for web applications/web services is limited to use within your organization only. So for example if you are developing a web portal with document viewing/PDF conversion capabilities that you are selling to businesses outside your organization, those businesses will need to acquire their own license(s). Soon there will be also a new specific license for public facing web applications/web services. The licensing for desktop applications remains unchanged and may be distributed freely within and outside your organization. The reason for this change is that web portal developers have been making disproportionate use of CadLib, that the original license was not intended to cover. If a web portal developer sells and distributes their portal to e.g. 20 businesses, they will get much more use out of the software than a developer that uses the software inside their organization only. If 20 business indirectly use CadLib through some web portal, it will generate 20 times as many support requests, because they run many times more DXF and DWG files through CadLib. This has been unbalanced for a decade or so, and this license change is intended to fix this unbalance. - Wout
